Vendor Program

Thank you for your interest in joining Cruz Bay Watersports as a contract sub-vendor for The Ritz Carlton, St. Thomas, and The Westin, St. John.

We are always searching for vendors that will enhance the guest experience by providing luxury service or unique experiences for our resort partners!

Below are a few highlights from our sub-contractor agreement:

• CBW Commission Rate: 20% to 30% for all experiences.
• Payment to Contractor from CBW: Bi-monthly
• Insurance: Vendors are required by the Ritz Carlton / Westin to carry $10M Liability. We provide options to reach this level if your business is currently below it.
• Vendor will Ensure: All employees are properly vetted, proper employment documents are executed, and employment credentials are current.
• Credit Card Charges: Vendors agree to pay the 3.5% processing fee
• Marketing Collateral: Please include any digital pictures and language you would like us to include in our Vendor Book, which is visible to guests to help promote your charter. This also includes pricing, add-ons, what is included, etc.
• CBW Employee Commission: While not required, our team members greatly appreciate a commission for booking your product. They are trained on your offerings, and work directly with the guest to promote each sale. Average commissions to the booking agent are as follows: $3-10 per person for land based tours, $25 per booking for center console private charters, and $100-$125 per booking for luxury vessels. Again, this is optional, and the commitment and amount is strictly up to your company.

If choosing to increase your own coverage, please submit the appropriate COI.
