Dana Neil
Senior Sales Manager Destination Services at The Ritz-Carlton and Senior Sales and Marketing Manager for the Virgin Islands
Dana grew up in New Jersey, went to college at Clemson in South Carolina and as a child traveled to the Caribbean which inspired a life-long love affair for island life and hospitality. She moved to St. John, USVI in 2002 and continues to build her life with her husband Troy and two kids, Tucker and Harper. Dana has been a part of Cruz Bay Watersports since 2003 and is experienced a wide variety of positions including Sales, Crew, Captain, Property Manager, Logistics, Training and Private Charter Coordinator. She has worn many hats for RED Hospitality but finds that being cross-trained in all departments has only continued to benefit the organization and her clients with her wide-ranging local knowledge of watersports, destination management and hospitality expectations. St. John is a fun place to raise kids, time off is spent with her family adventuring on and under the water. Dana is looking forward to all the exciting additions of working with this growing company!
Audrey K. Penn
SENIOR SALES MANAGER DESTINATION SERVICES AT FRENCHMAN'S REEF
Audrey was born in Tortola, BVI and was raised in St. John, USVI. She comes from a big local family in the territory spanning from the US and into the BVI with over 25 aunts and uncles locally. Audrey has been working for CBW and RED since 2014 and has been an asset from the beginning. Her local knowledge and experience is unparalleled. When not at work, Audrey loves to cook, is a self proclaimed foodie who enjoys trying new restaurant locations and learning about new places to share with her guests and clients. Her other favorite pastime is traveling. Fun fact about Audrey: She has dual citizenship, born in Tortola in the BVI and grew up on St.John. Audrey is excited about the incredible growth and expansion ahead for RED!
Jim Terkelsen
MARINE OPERATIONS MANAGER
Jim grew up in Cape Cod, MA and developed a love of sailing at early age thanks to his Dad. Jim spent many years as a teacher and then as a sailing coach. His exceptional experience working with all ages has positioned Jim to meld well into the Watersports industry with Cruz Bay Watersports. He and his wife Bonnie moved to St. Thomas in 2017 and has been with RED ever since. Jim says the people and the sense of community in the islands is pure magic and he’s lucky to spend everyday playing with boats, on the water, at the beach and where never snows. A fun fact about Jim is he has never had a job where he was required to wear pants. He is looking forward to all the exciting things happening in the RED world!
Logan Rose
Property Operations Manager at Ritz Carlton
Logan grew up in Raleigh, North Carolina and has family spread as far away as Alaska. Logan joined the RED Team in the early spring of 2023 and chose this position to discover a new adventure, culture, and lifestyle. He looks forward to learning and growing with RED. Logan’s favorite thing outside of work is to discover good food spots, especially when traveling to new places, football and singing. Logan looks forward to his continued growth and exposure in the world of hospitality and watersports.
Ilena Snodgrass
Sales Manager for Destination Management Services at the Ritz Carlton
Ilena grew up in Ohio and after vacationing in the Virgin Islands a few years ago, decided to move there officially in 2022. She worked on cruise ships for 5 years and her love of hospitality and her exceptional customer service has positively impacted every person she comes in contact with. Ilena has worked with RED for over a year, specifically at The Ritz-Carlton in St. Thomas. When she is not at work she is playing with her puppy Pablo and spending lots of time on the beautiful beaches of the Virgin Islands. Ilena is delighted to continue her work with the elevated guest experiences she cultivates in her day to day with RED.
Angela Rene-Cazubon
Property Operations Manager
WATERSPORTS WESTIN, ST. JOHN.
Angela was born and raised in Soufriere, St. Lucia and currently resides in St. John US Virgin Islands with her husband and two children. Angela first partnered with Cruz Bay Watersports as a concierge from Caneel Bay Resort being the lead seller for the sunset sail provided by Cruz Bay Watersports. January 2019, she started full-time with Cruz Bay Watersports at the Westin, St. John location and has grown into her leadership position with grace. Angela is proud to call St. John home, “this island is diverse and rich in culture, the beaches are my happy place.” When she is not creating memorable guest experiences, she loves spending time with her family and enjoying the beaches, baking, and trying new dishes.
Shona Perry
Director of Hotel Operations in the USVI
Shona, originally from Dublin, Ireland, where she achieved a Bsc in Hospitality Management before moving to NYC to share her passion of hospitality while continuing to learn her trade in all areas of hotel operations. After achieving her dream of becoming a GM with Marriott in NYC it was time for Shona’s next adventure. In 2021 Shona moved to the Caribbean to follow her love for the ocean and the outdoors. Shona lived and worked in St Vincent and the Grenadines before joining our team in 2022 to lead our Turks and Caicos operation. In March of 2024 Shona relocated to her newest role heading up our 3 Hotel Operations in the USVI’s.
Shona is passionate about all thing’s hospitality, traveling and spending her days in and on the ocean.
Anna Hoppe
Director of Marine Operations in the USVI
Anna’s journey with the company started on the beach as a watersports and beach attendant, where she learned the ropes and developed a love for the ocean. From there, she worked her way up to being a crew member and eventually became a lead Captain and Captain Trainer. Now, she combines years of hands-on experience with a passion for the marine industry to keep everything running smoothly.
Originally from Vermont, Anna made her way to the Virgin Islands, where she met her partner while living in St. John. They now call St. Thomas home, where they’re raising their two young daughters. Outside of work, Anna enjoys boating and island hopping with her family, continuing to explore the waters she knows and loves.
Janelle Beckett
Sales Manager in Destination Management Services at Frenchman's Reef, STT and Ritz Carlton, STT
Janelle was born and raised in Christchurch, New Zealand and in 1999 made the move across the Tasman to Sydney, Australia where she spent 9 years working in sales, marketing & events.
After vacationing to St Thomas in 2007 she decided it was time to make another move and chose St Thomas as her destination. 14 Years later she’s still here and after owning and operating a successful small restaurant it was time to delve back into the corporate world. Using her past experiences Janelle has shown that she has the operational and organisational skills to both provide RED Hospitality clients with not only seamless event experiences but an elevated overall guest experience.
Formally trained as a chef in New Zealand Janelle enjoys dining out and cooking for others while also maximising time outdoors and on the water in the Virgin Islands Caribbean paradise.
Tying in her years of experience in the hospitality industry and the corporate world she’s excited to join the RED team and looks forward to the growth ahead.
Daniel Barrett
Marine Operations Manager, USVI
Born and raised in Yorkshire, England! Daniel began working in the hospitality industry from an early age but ultimately, his passion for sports took over. After spending many years as a professional footballer in the UK, Europe and Australia he returned to his roots of Hospitality, this time in Marine Hospitality. Daniel joined the Super Yachting industry after returning to Europe. This allowed him to travel and live in some amazing countries. After moving to the Caribbean as a Captain and Estate Manager on a private island, Daniel joined RED Hospitality , Turks and Caicos, in 2022, overseeing marine operations in this growing market. In 2024 Daniel relocated to the USVI’s to share his skills and knowledge with our marine team in our 3 USVI operations. Daniel is a keen chef and is still passionate about sports, especially Soccer and Rugby.
Chris Shock
VP of Operations and Sales, South Florida and Caribbean
Chris has taken a long, winding journey to get to St Thomas and Cruz Bay Watersports. After stops in Lake Tahoe, Shanghai, Dubai, San Francisco and New York City, Chris fell in love with the Caribbean vibes after a recent visit and decided to make the USVI his home with his wife and newborn daughter.
With a background in the hospitality and maritime industries, Cruz Bay Watersports became the perfect fit for Chris. Any day on the water is a good day, and there are many of those here in St Thomas, USVI!
